		<description>About thrift stores - I absolutely agree. About every 2 weeks I go to a large Goodwill Store nearby looking for props like plates, silverware, knives, cutting boards, whatever.

And for a dollar or two sometimes I get some real finds.

The nice thing about this is one does not have to buy 8 or 12 of something new. And when you don&#039;t want it any more you can take it back and recycle it to the Goodwill Store. That should make Al Gore happy, LOL!!

Oh, another place to look for new things is Dollar Tree. Last year they had a terrific selection of place mats. Some were linked wood squares, others were long strips of wood/bamboo, others were fabric. I bought one of each. Once they were gone they never got them back again. Lesson learned.
